"Look What I Can Do!"

This little bugger is growing up way too fast for me!  I swear this week he has turned into such a little man.  He has better control of his hands and loves to hit his toys in his baby gym.  He keeps his little hands in fists still, so no grabbing yet....just punching! 

He is starting to sit up very well and he loves his bumbo!  On Saturday evening after his bath he finally rolled over for the first time!!  I was so excited that I think I scared him a bit!  The next morning he rolled over again....now I have to keep one eye on him at all times!  I'm sure all Mommy's say that their baby is very "advanced" for his age but I'm pretty sure he is : )

Liam's new favorite thing is watching his Baby Einstein movies.  H loves sitting in his bouncer in front of the TV.  Gosh, that makes us sound like bad parents!!!  Anyway, he loves and laughs when the rooster bounces around the screen.  He's such a funny boy!  Click the following link to watch him enjoying his TV time!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79JqUXGeiSk

Has it been that long??

It feels like yesterday that this little man was in my tummy and kicking like crazy!  Now he is a whopping 14lbs at 3 months and taking over our lives....in a good way!  Everyday is an adventure with this little guy!  It amazes me how fast he grows and I love watching him learn knew things everyday.  He can hold himself up into sitting position when I just hold his hands, he can grab toys and pull them to his mouth, and he puts his weight on his legs now when we stand him up! 


It's an amazing thing watching the world through a tiny human!  He loves to talk to his toys and smiles constantly when his Daddy plays music on his phone!  Not only is he smiling all the time but he loves to giggle!  He will squeal when I tickle his tummy on his changing table.


He is one funny boy who keeps us smiling everyday!!

 I'm loving doing cloth diapers!  Not only does it help him avoid diaper rash but they're super cute and I feel very "green".  I love this picture because it shows off his hair...which is rare in most pictures!  I'm thinking he's going to be a blondie!

He was such a good boy and the perfect model!  I suggest all prego Mommy's to plan your first photo session within the first week!!  Even though I was super sore from the C-section, I still had to be the one to take his first portraits!  Here a are a few of my favorite....

Little Liam is here... 12 weeks and 3 days ago :)

This is my official first post!  I've been wanting to make a blog for Liam for a long time but I just haven't gotten around to it until now.  Being a new Mommy is a busy job!  I personally don't think I'm the best writer so please do not check my grammer : )

Liam was born on February 8, 2011 at 5:20 PM via C-Section.  His original due date was on Valentines Day but he had plans of his own!  It turned out that "Little" Liam was a bit on the larger size which meant he had to come to this world by a C-section.  I remember the first the my doctor said as he pulled Liam out was...." Ohhh....He's peeing!!!"  and one of the nurses said, " Wow!  He sounds like a toddler with that cry!".  We than welcomed a chubby 9 pound 5 ounce baby boy! 

The first three months has been wonderful!  Brendan was able to take 7 weeks off work which I appreciated so much!  Brendan's mom Patty stayed with us for a couple weeks after Liam was born to help us around the house and keep our tummy's full.  My mom and twin sister came down when Liam was 2 1/2 weeks and had plenty of cuddle time with the new little man. 

Liam had his first visit up to Washington when he was 5 weeks old.   He met plenty of his future friends and girlfriends! 

He has changed so much the past 3 months!  He smiles all the time and giggles constantly at my funny noises and daddy's funny faces.  He's learning quick and is really trying to sit up on his own!  He can actually sit up on my lap for about 30 seconds with no help :) 

I'm excited for the future of our new little man and all the great experiences we get to share.
